If you have received the estimated date of birth from your gynecologist, then you can also determine the date of conception. The due date is estimated by your gynecologist and can be changed. It should be borne in mind that only about 4 percent of women give birth exactly on the expected date of birth, that is, in 96% of cases, the date of birth is not the case.
Why is that so?
The date of delivery is defined on an ultrasound examination. Ultrasound examinations in the first trimester may have deviations of 5 to 7 days, and in the second trimester of even 7 to 10 days. Also, the assumption is that each pregnancy lasts exactly 280 days and individual differences are not taken into account.
